Adam Green is best known as a songwriter and musician, but he recently visited Amsterdam to present his second feature, Aladdin.
In 2011 he released The Wrong Ferrari, featuring a bunch of folks from the NYC art-scene and Macaulay Culkin. Awkwardly dubbed texts, deliberately low technical levels, fluctuations, aggressive editing, a self-conscious film.
For Aladdin, Adam repeated the casting trick and shifted to a different technical approach. He himself painted the sets. Et cetera. My interest is not in discussing the movies, but the live event. The live event I would discuss in private. Here goes the trailer.
Adam is his own boss. The pact he has made with his followers is that he will do as he wishes with his career and that no other expectations will be met, but the results will always be valuable in their own standards.
